Butterfield Creek hails from Chicago’s southland. We’re a tight-knit four-piece band featuring quality musicianship on guitars, banjo, and upright bass — all backing the incredible Rachel Lewis on lead vocals.

Rooted in the Americana tradition, our repertoire spans acoustic renditions of rock and pop classics, off-the-beaten-path favorites, and a touch of bluegrass — from traditional to newgrass — plus a some classic country tunes. To keep things fresh, we mix in a handful of catchy original songs as well.

Butterfield Creek performs at a wide range of venues and events, including restaurants, breweries, wineries, and festivals. You’ll also find us playing at apple orchards, farmers markets, listening rooms, libraries and private gatherings — anywhere people appreciate great live music.
